Tandi is Alex’s best friend in the village of Northish Eastish Kindling. He is the one who rescues her after her accident and cares for her until she regains consciousness.
Like Alex, Tandi hasn’t always had it easy. Originally from Germany, he moved to the village after his parents died mysteriously a few years ago. He lives on the outskirts of town in a ramshackle cottage with his sheepdrake Moose and his pet fox, Titus.
He’s a bit of an outcast, and like all kinderlings, mischievous, but he is also a loyal and determined friend who is always ready to stand up for Alex. Even though she doesn’t know how to perform pyromancy or fire magic, he never gives up on her and always makes sure she is included.
